Tanya Feinleib wins the Allan K. DuBois Volunteer of the Year Award & gets her article published.

2023 Winner

Tanya Feinleib has been selected as the recipients of the 2023 Allan K. DuBois Volunteer of the Year Award, one of the Spirit of Public Service Awards presented at SALSA’s Justice Luncheon. This year’s luncheon will be held on Wednesday, April 5th at the Witte Museum’s Mays Family Center.

Tanya has provided sage guidance and counsel to ensure that all attorneys have the opportunity to provide critical estate planning service to indigent members of our local community. Tanya is selfless with her time and talents and has devoted countless hours towards ensuring that the standards of the program remain high and that the services that SALSA volunteers provide are always high caliber legal assistance even though they are provided at no cost. Tanya has set the standard for “mentor” and “trainer” and people flock to the SALSA Wills Clinic because they know they are going to be supported along the way by her expert guidance.

This award honors and memorializes the extraordinary legacy of Allan K. DuBois and his deep commitment to and belief in the power of pro bono service. Allan’s extraordinary legacy of pro bono work, including his role as a founding member of Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans, stands as a shining example for the legal community to emulate.
