Corporate Attorney

Overview
Langley & Banack has a robust group of corporate, business, and banking attorneys and we are looking to add to our team. We are seeking an experienced, partner-level corporate lawyer with excellent communication skills and a client-service mindset.

Required experience and qualifications:

    • Expertise in commercial law
    • Comprehensive understanding of corporate and business law
    • Experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, capital raises, corporate reorganizations, and complex entity structures
    • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
    • 2+ years of legal experience
    • Licensed in the State of Texas

Government/Public Law Attorney

Overview

The New Braunfels office of Langley & Banack, Inc. is seeking a full-time legal assistant. Requirements: experience in family law, litigation, probate, or real estate, detail oriented, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, strong communication and computer skills.

The candidate will be working closely with two attorneys with active litigation dockets. This position is responsible for the following: direct contact and communication with clients, attorneys, and the court; preparing legal documents and pleadings for court; organizing client portfolios; and analyzing production, discovery documents, and financial data. Strong communication and computer skills are a must.

The candidate should have an Associate’s Degree. Paralegal Certificate is preferred. Working knowledge of court policies and procedures required. Ability to draft and analyze discovery documents. Excellent grammar and writing skills necessary. Ability to excel in a high paced work environment, properly prioritize and manage several demanding and competing responsibilities, while meeting firm deadlines is necessary. When dealing with attorneys, clients, and confidential matters, candidate will need these skills together with integrity, pro-active approach, and a calming/sympathetic attitude.
