Texas Water Law

Langley & Banack has a diverse water law practice representing landowners and water providers.

We represent local governments, water districts, conservation districts, irrigation districts, water control and improvement districts, and water providers in connection with the acquisition of water rights, condemnation proceedings, and their day to day governance and operational needs. We have assisted with capital improvements, both privately funded and funded by the Texas Water Development Board.

We also represent landowners in the sale and leasing of water rights, and in disputes with neighboring landowners over drainage, flooding and ownership disputes and regulatory issues.
