    Shareholder Christopher T. Hodge is presenting on Will and Trust Modification with an emphasis on the new will modification statutes at the upcoming San Antonio Estate Planners Council’s “Docket Call” February 11th and 12th, 2016.  Associate Tanya Feinleib is presenting on the topic of Drafting of Ancillary Estate Planning Documents.

  • Clinton Butler named to Who’s Who in Energy

    Karnes City Shareholder Clinton Butler received the San Antonio Business Journal’s award for Who’s Who in Energy 2016 in the legal category Butler was chosen based on a combination of industry outreach, internal research and open nominations.

  • Clinton Butler speaks at Meritas regional meeting

    Shareholder Clinton Butler addressed attorneys from around the United States who attended the 2015 Meritas regional meeting in Houston.  The theme of the meeting was energy, with a focus on Texas and national and international energy trends and issues.  Mr. Butler’s presented on deed interpretation lawsuits and was able to share from his vast experience handling these matters in Karnes and surrounding counties.

  • 2 Langley & Banack Shareholders named Outstanding Lawyers

    Catherine M. Stone, Chair of the Appellate Section and Thomas H. Veitch were both named as San Antonio Business Journal’s 2015 Outstanding Lawyers. A luncheon was held at the Pearl Stable to highlight the accomplishments of the honorees and the esteemed San Antonio legal community.

  • SA Scene magazine names its top San Antonio personal injury lawyers

    Shareholders Lucretia R. Marmor, Steven D. Browne and Ruben Valadez were named as part of San Antonio’s Top 30 Personal Injury Lawyers for 2016 in San Antonio Scene magazine.  Dane Patrick was also named as one of the other best personal injury lawyers in the poll.

  • Buddy Banack celebrates 50 years

    Shareholder Emerson “Buddy” Banack, Jr. celebrated his 50 year anniversary practicing law on Wednesday, May 6th at the Plaza Club.  His family and colleagues, including Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Ronald B.   • Tom Veitch appointed to Texas Workers’ Compensation Appeals Panel

    Shareholder Thomas H. Veitch has been appointed by the Commissioner of Insurance as the public representative on the Texas Workers’ Compensation Appeals Panel.  The Panel is part of the Texas Department of Insurance and Mr. Veitch will hear cases from across the state.

  • Bob Werner Elected Mayor of Shavano Park

    Tax and Employee Benefits Shareholder Bob Werner was elected Mayor of the City of Shavano Park this month.  Mr. Werner has been an active member of the City of Shavano Park government having served as a Councilman and on the Planning & Zoning Committee, where he has served as Chairman since 2006.  Mr. Werner replaces Mayor Pro Tem Michele Bunting Ross.
