The daughter of migrant farm workers from Edinburg, Cardona stands out because of her drive and for helping others. Besides advocating for the less fortunate with the State Bar of Texas, Cardona mentors law students at St. Mary’s University and new female lawyers at Langley & Banack — as someone who considers herself to have been “blessed with mentors” in her life.
