March 1st marks the beginning of Women’s History Month

Every year, March is designated Women’s History Month by presidential proclamation. The month is set aside to honor women’s contributions in American history.  Women’s History Month began in 1978 as a local celebration in Santa Rosa, California called “Women’s History Week.”  From there it evolved under President Carter to National Women’s History week until 1987 when Congress declared March “Women’s History Month.”

This March we are excited to feature our incredibly talented group of women lawyers.  We have 17 women lawyers whose contributions to their profession, their communities, and our firm will be celebrated throughout the month.
