Carrie James is a family law specialist in our New Braunfels office. She is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Family Law.
Prior to relocating to her hometown of New Braunfels, her practice was focused primarily on litigating complex divorce cases involving contested property division and high conflict custody cases between parents and by non-parents in the Conroe/Houston area. She continues to focus on complex divorce litigation (characterization, valuation, common law marriage, and post-judgment enforcement), transactional property matters including negotiating and drafting premarital and partition and exchange agreements, as well as contested child custody, support, enforcement, modification, and termination matters.
