Shareholder Bill Sommers co-presented “COVID-19 (a/k/a) Coronavirus: The Project Plague – Legal Checklists for Risks, Problems and Concerns” at a webinar hosted by the Construction Law Foundation of Texas on April 8, 2020. The webinar identified major issues that construction and design professionals may run into in connection with COVID-19. Specifically, the presentation covered: (a) labor/employment challenges, (b) the CARES Act, (c) insurance/risk management, and (d) contracts/agreements and the law, as well as many other detailed subtopics.
