Someone whom I admire and has inspired me is Maya Angelou. Her talent and ability to describe the human experience in its truth and beauty is simply amazing. Her book, Letter to My Daughter, is a wonderful collection of stories and wisdom that I have referred to time and again. In sharing her own life experiences, she teaches us all how to appreciate this life and reminds us that we are all connected to each other, regardless of where we come from. Although she is no longer with us, her literary repertoire and influence in this world continues as a gift to us all.
