This role focuses on Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) defense, representing trucking companies, drivers, and insurers in high-exposure cases involving personal injury and wrongful death claims. Key responsibilities include immediate accident response and scene investigation, managing complex litigation from inception through trial, ensuring compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), and strategically retaining and working with expert witnesses. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling high-stakes matters, coordinating multi-party defenses, and developing effective case strategies under tight timelines.
This role also encompasses a diverse range of civil defense matters, including personal auto accidents, premises liability (e.g., slip and fall cases), and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims involving serious injuries and fatalities.
Additionally, the role includes construction defect litigation spanning residential and commercial projects.
