David Gard’s practice is focused on the areas of Banking, Corporate Law, and Real Estate transactions at Langley & Banack. David’s banking and corporate law practice includes representing financial institutions on corporate and regulatory matters including mergers, acquisitions, securities offerings, and de novo charters as well as representing lenders in a variety of secured transactions such as term loans, lines of credit, and other asset-based lending transactions.
Before joining Langley & Banack, David spent 14 years in the banking profession, both as a Vice President of Finance and as a bank regulator with the FDIC. He was also a distinguished graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. David’s prior banking experience has enabled him to better serve clients through his deep understanding of financial institutions and the regulatory and legal issues commonly encountered.
David’s corporate practice includes counseling businesses on organizational matters such as entity formation and drafting of organizational documents and operating agreements, and his real estate practice includes representation of both landlords and tenants in the negotiation of commercial leases and buyers and sellers of commercial properties.
