David Louis has joined the firm as an Associate in our San Antonio office, where he primarily focuses on general civil litigation and medical malpractice defense. David was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in October 2020, after receiving his Bachelor of Science from Trident University in 2011, and his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2020.
Before joining the firm, David served as a combat medic and healthcare specialist in the United States Army for two decades. He graduated magna cum laude from St. Mary’s University School of Law and served as the Managing Executive Editor of the Law Journal. His experience includes an internship with the Honorable Judge Xavier Rodriguez of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, and a clerkship with Justice Rebeca A. Huddle of the Supreme Court of Texas.
