Celebrating Women’s History Month: Meet Natalie Friend Wilson

The first woman lawyer in our celebration of Women’s History Month series is Shareholder Natalie Friend Wilson. Natalie is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and she also serves as the head of our Cybersecurity, Data Protection, and Privacy practice group.

Do you have a woman, inside or outside the practice of law, who inspires (or inspired) you in life?

Sandra Day O’Connor inspired me to go to law school, well before I understood anything about what it meant to be a lawyer. I did a book report on her in elementary school, and something about the fact that she graduated at the top of her class but still struggled to get hired as a lawyer because she was a woman struck a chord in my little soul.

What interested you in practicing law?

I like helping people solve even the most complex problems.

What is your favorite book?

So many! My perennial favorites are Catch-22 and Pride & Prejudice. My favorite recent read is Cloud Cuckoo Land.

What is your favorite quote?

“You didn’t get up today to be mediocre.” Robin Arzon, Peloton Instructor & recovered lawyer

What makes L&B a great place to work?

Hands down, the amazing people.
