Langley & Banack Remembers Young Musician and His Love of the Arts by Contributing to the David Alexander Robles Menchaca Memorial Fund at the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio

Langley & Banack has made a donation to a newly established memorial fund on behalf of David Alexander Robles Menchaca, the son of Michelle Robles Menchaca, the firm administrator and long-standing employee. David was tragically involved in a fatal motorcycle accident in August, 2021, at the age of 24.

To honor the life of this beloved musician, friend and son, The David Robles Menchaca Memorial Fund was created at the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio (YOSA). David was a member of YOSA from 2005-2015 as a violinist, and was also skilled in the guitar, piano and saxophone. David gave much to the arts in hopes of bringing beauty and hope to those around him. “YOSA is honored to carry David’s memory forward for years to come through the memorial fund that will benefit passionate young musicians of YOSA in need of financial support,” said Ben Hackett, YOSA Interim Executive Director.

In addition to David’s gift of music, his memory will continue to live on in the lives of others touched by his gift of life through organ donation.

Langley & Banack invites the law community, and the community at large to donate to this memorial to bring the dream of music and performance mastery to young, promising musicians. The donation page can be found here.

Each year, YOSA reaches nearly 2,500 young people, representing 135 schools throughout greater San Antonio. A resident company of the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, YOSA was one of only six youth orchestras nationally to receive a 2020 League of American Orchestras’ Futures Fund award for innovative programming.
