Paul Fletcher has extensive experience in land use and zoning and municipal law. Mr. Fletcher has represented, advised and lobbied on behalf of developers and property owners in matters involving zoning and land use, vested rights, property development issues, contract claims, water rights, public utilities and constitutional claims. In addition, Mr. Fletcher has assisted in the representation of municipalities in both civil and criminal matters. Mr. Fletcher has also served as an Assistant City Attorney for five (5) years with the City of Dallas Attorney's Office where he represented and advised the City of Dallas' boards, commissions and officials in civil lawsuits and administrative matters involving plats, zoning, variances, special exceptions, signs, nonconforming and illegal land uses, subdivisions, code enforcement and sexual oriented businesses. He also drafted legal opinions and proposed ordinances on matters of municipal law. Additionally, Mr. Fletcher has represented artists and record companies in the entertainment industry; and the elderly and disabled in lawsuits and administrative matters involving family law, probate and estate planning, governmental benefits, real estate, and insurance. In 2007, Mr. Fletcher was named as a Texas Rising Star in Land Use and Zoning by Texas Monthly magazine. He is a native of California where he has been licensed to practice law since 1997.
