Mr. Evans works in Langley & Banack's litigation section, devoting his practice equally to employment law and general commercial law. Mr. Evans has advised and represented clients on various matters, including Title VII, the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, the Family & Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Texas Payday Act. Mr. Evans has assisted clients appearing before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Eastern, Western, Northern, and Southern Federal District Courts of Texas, the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals, numerous Texas District, County, and Small Claims Courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Texas Civil Rights Division and Labor Law Section of the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Wage & Hour Division of the Department of Labor. Mr. Evans is married to the former Katherine Cherie Tedesco of Shreveport, Louisiana. He has lived in San Antonio for most of his life, having graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1993. Mr. Evans has always been a devoted Spurs Fan, and has brought his wife into the fold, as well. They have one daughter, Sophia, and two chocolate labs, Ginger and Jack, who bring them much joy. |
